Children get Holy Spirit treat on Hallowe'en
AN INTERESTING take on Halloween festivities was offered at St Paul's Parish Centre in Brentford this week.
On Monday afternoon 150 people gathered to enjoy a special treat organised by Soul in Brentford.
The party was to celebrate God's

goodness, light and love rather than getting involved with the Halloween antics and tricks which many people find scary.
The treat party provided a safe, fun environment to celebrate All Hallow's Eve.
There were fun games and craft activities and revelers ate

pizza and cakes whilst listening to a tale of God giving treats. Soul in Brentford the group name given to the churches in Brentford working together to put on community events.
Its co-ordinator, Sara Ward, said: "I'm so thrilled that as churches we can work
together to bring God's love in a real way to the communities of Brentford." She also wanted to say thank you to all the companies who donated many gifts so the children could go home with bulging treat bags.
